line-height: 26px;\">After earning his bachelors of science in philosophy, Brock served on active duty as an intelligence officer in the United States Marine Corps from 2004 <\/span><span data-fusion-font=\"true\" style=\"line-height: 26px; font-size: 20px;\">to 2010 (remaining on reserve status until 2019). Among other accomplishments and duty assignments, he honorably served in Afghanistan where he was awarded the Presidential Unit Citation and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal. Brock achieved the rank of Captain before leaving the Marine Corps and proudly credits his experience in the Marine Corps with helping him recognize his talent and passion for helping those who are unable to help themselves.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: rgb(255, 255, 255); font-size: 16px; line-height: 20px; font-family: Jomolhari;\" data-fusion-font=\"true\" data-fusion-google-font=\"Jomolhari\" data-fusion-google-variant=\"400\"><b data-fusion-font=\"true\" style=\"font-size: 20px; line-height: 26px;\">Brock Chwialkowski earned his Juris Doctor, J.D., from Western State College of Law in Irvine. In addition, he earned a Master of Science, M.S. in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Creighton University Law School&#8217;s Werner Institute in Omaha, Nebraska. He received his Bachelor of Science, B.S. degree in philosophy from Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, Minnesota.<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: rgb(255, 255, 255); font-size: 16px; line-height: 20px; font-family: Jomolhari; text-align: left;\" data-fusion-font=\"true\" data-fusion-google-font=\"Jomolhari\" data-fusion-google-variant=\"400\"><b data-fusion-font=\"true\" style=\"font-size: 20px; line-height: 26px;\">With the long and difficult to pronounce last name of Chwialkowski, Brock wanted to make it easy for his clients, so he decided on the name Skol Legal for his law practice. Growing up in Minnesota, there is a common term people use, \u2018Skol\u2019, which is a Viking war chant that stems from Scandinavian descent (areas such as modern-day Sweden, Denmark, and Norway). A &#8220;Skol&#8221; was a communal bowl, often filled with beer, which was shared amongst companions as part of a celebration of victory and health. The word became a way of saying \u201cCheers!\u201d or \u201cGood health!\u201d. Brock chose this name to make certain that each of his clients feel welcome and comfortable, knowing they are represented by someone who will zealously and fiercely represent them and protect their rights.<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: rgb(255, 255, 255); font-size: 16px; line-height: 20px;\" data-fusion-font=\"true\"><b data-fusion-font=\"true\" style=\"font-size: 20px; line-height: 26px;\">Brock currently lives in Orange County with his wife, two children, dog, cat, and bunnies.
